About The Position

Prestige Maintenance USA is hiring a Custodian to perform janitorial and facilities-maintenance duties at a customer site. The role involves maintaining clean, orderly, and safe facilities, including restrooms, offices, cafeterias, and sales floors. The custodian performs scheduled assignments and other general cleaning tasks as directed by the Lead Custodian or management, following company safety, customer-service, and attire policies. The posting describes both full- and part-time availability, third-shift work, weekend work, and flexible scheduling. Relocation and travel are not provided or required.

Requirements

Ability to perform the essential physical functions of the position, including lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or moving materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to regularly perform repetitive physical activities, including bending, twisting, reaching, climbing, squatting, pushing, and pulling.
Ability to operate small power tools safely and effectively.
Ability to stoop, kneel, crawl, bend, turn, and reach in areas that may not be fully air-conditioned.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, including climbing stairs and ladders.
Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced or stressful environment.
Reliability and punctuality.
Attention to detail and willingness to perform hands-on cleaning work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Keep facilities clean, orderly, and safe.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors.
Remove trash and recycling; empty wastebaskets and replace liners as needed.
Restock cleaning supplies and refill restroom dispensers.
Clean and sanitize toilets, basins, and urinals; sweep and damp-mop restroom floors with disinfectant.
Spot-clean soiled areas as needed.
Perform general cleaning in restrooms, offices, cafeterias, sales floors, and other assigned areas.
Perform stripping, waxing, and wet-floor care.
Use scrubbers, extractors, buffers, and other equipment as needed.
Complete assignments according to the company schedule and customer expectations.
Perform other general duties as directed by the Lead Custodian or management.
Follow safety guidelines and company policies concerning safety, customer service, and proper attire.
