About The Position

Prestige Maintenance USA is hiring a Porter/Custodian to keep facilities clean, organized, and safe. The role includes general cleaning in restrooms, offices, cafeterias, sales floors, and other assigned areas; floor care, including stripping and waxing; and use of cleaning equipment. The custodian completes assignments according to the company schedule and customer expectations, and follows directions from the Lead Custodian or Management. The work requires regular physical activity, extended periods of standing and walking, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced or stressful environment.

Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, or move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to regularly perform repetitive physical activities, including bending, twisting, reaching, climbing, squatting, pushing, and pulling.
Ability to operate small power tools safely and effectively.
Ability to stoop, kneel, crawl, bend, turn, and reach in areas that may not be fully air-conditioned.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, including climbing stairs and ladders.
Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced or stressful environment.
Availability for 1st shift and weekends, and must be available 6–7 days a week.

Responsibilities

Keep facilities clean and safe by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and cleaning assigned areas.
Take out trash and recycling; empty wastebaskets and replace liners as needed.
Restock cleaning supplies and refill restroom dispensers.
Clean and sanitize toilets, basins, and urinals; damp mop floors with disinfectant and spot-clean soiled areas.
Perform general cleaning in restrooms, offices, cafeterias, sales floors, and other assigned areas.
Perform stripping, waxing, and other wet floor care.
Use equipment such as scrubbers, extractors, and buffers.
Complete assignments according to the company schedule and customer expectations.
Perform general required tasks as directed by the Lead Custodian or Management.
Perform tasks within proper safety guidelines and follow company policies and procedures regarding safety, customer service, and proper attire.
