About The Position

ATI is seeking a motivated, qualified, and experienced Custodian for a full-time position at a government facility in Springfield, Virginia. The role supports mission-critical operations and involves working in secure environments. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with an anticipated 40-hour workweek. Various shifts are available, including day and evening shifts. Overtime may be necessary for scheduled monthly or quarterly deep cleanings.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a clearance.
• Must be able to work independently in a secure or sensitive environment.
• At least two years of experience working in the custodial field.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain a safe working culture.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 30 pounds and bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for long periods.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working near senior government officials is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean offices, restrooms, common areas, elevators, kitchenettes, locker rooms, and a fitness center, including sanitizing, dusting, mopping, glass cleaning, and vacuuming.
• Restock restroom paper products and soap, and facility hand sanitizer.
• Spot-clean walls and remove scuffs and stains.
• Empty trash cans, recycling bins, and cigarette receptacles.
• Perform weekly, monthly, and quarterly deep-cleaning tasks, such as deep-scrubbing floors, exterior power washing, and window cleaning.
• Follow the custodial cleaning schedule.
• Mix, use, and store chemicals according to instructions.
• Properly store and sanitize equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
