About The Position

HES is hiring for a custodial role in Grayslake, Illinois. The posting describes General Cleaners as responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of assigned areas and for performing a range of cleaning duties to maintain the facility’s daily upkeep. Requirements

Excellent work history.

Physical ability to work efficiently with attention to detail.
Reliable transportation.
Ability to reach, bend, stoop, wipe, push, and pull.
Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Ability to walk and stand extensively for the duration of the shift.
Sufficient mobility to complete assigned tasks within company production and service time frames.
Ability to work in temperatures ranging from hot to cold.

Nice To Haves

High school degree or equivalent.
Previous cleaning experience.

Responsibilities

Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of all assigned areas.
Sweep, dust, dust mop, damp mop, vacuum, extract carpet, and strip and wax floors.
Remove trash and recycling.
Clean and sanitize restrooms and locker rooms.
Polish outside areas within 10 feet of entryways.
Wash windows and remove snow and ice.
Clean desks, walls, furniture, doors, entry glass, interior glass, countertops, chalkboards, whiteboards, blinds, and light fixtures.
Perform other duties as directed by the custodial supervisor or their designated representative.
