About The Position

The Custodian is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the building and its grounds. This role involves maintaining an attractive, sanitary, and safe facility for clients, staff, and the public, communicating information in response to inquiries, and providing equipment and furniture arrangements for meetings, clinical activities, and events. The Custodian also plays a key role in maintaining facilities to minimize deterioration and damage, ensuring the safe and orderly operation of the facilities, and providing excellent customer service. Participation in monthly inspections is required to ensure compliance with requirements, cleanliness, and proper upkeep of the facility. The role also strongly and enthusiastically supports and participates in advocacy and direct action to end the twin crises of AIDS and homelessness. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Good communication skills, both verbally and written, including the ability to communicate with all levels of management
• Dependable & flexible as well as possessing the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
• S95 to be obtained in first 90 days of employment
• Basic emailing knowledge
