About The Position

The Student Sweeper sweeps and vacuums floors in classrooms, hallways, stairs, auditoriums, gymnasiums, lounges, libraries, offices, and other required areas. The role may also include emptying trash, removing gum, dusting, cleaning up grounds, and other duties. Applicants must be at least 14 years old and provide an age certificate if under 18. They must provide proof of current enrollment as a student in Denver Public Schools, maintain a permanent home address in Colorado while working for DPS, and be able to meet the position’s physical demands with or without accommodations. Applications are accepted until October 27, 2026; if the position remains unfilled, applications submitted after that date may be considered. Applicants must apply online through the Denver Public Schools job board.

Requirements

Must be at least 14 years of age; applicants under 18 must possess an age certificate.
Must provide proof of current enrollment as a student in Denver Public Schools.
Must live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado while working for Denver Public Schools.
Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position with or without accommodations.
