About The Position

Walmart Central Fill Pharmacy is an automated pharmacy operation that processes and dispenses prescriptions for multiple retail pharmacy locations in a region. The Custodian II supports operations at the Central Fill Pharmacy in Springfield, Missouri, helping maintain a clean and sanitary facility and supporting facility needs. The role is full-time and consistently on the evening shift; scheduled hours are 2:00 PM–10:00 PM, Monday through Friday, although hours may vary depending on business needs.

Requirements

1–3 years of custodial background.

Nice To Haves

Custodial services or a related field.
Experience driving large trucks.
Ability to speak both English and Spanish.
Valid driver's license or eligibility to obtain one.

Responsibilities

Support the facility by setting up rooms for special events, performing minor maintenance and repairs, collecting and transporting recyclables, disassembling and cleaning drug dispensers, and reporting facility issues to management.
Maintain clean and sanitary offices, restrooms, conference rooms, lobbies, elevators, and parking lots in accordance with company safety procedures and applicable laws and regulations.
Wear personal protective equipment and perform cleaning tasks such as emptying waste and recycling bins, dusting, sweeping, wet mopping, stripping and waxing floors, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms and showers, vacuuming and spot-cleaning carpets, and cleaning electronic devices, windows, air conditioner ducts, and ceiling tiles.
Identify and respond to additional cleaning needs.
Follow company policies, procedures, and ethics standards, including implementing action plans and using the Open Door Policy.
Complete assignments and priorities by collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and business partners; identifying priorities and deadlines; communicating progress; recommending improvements; and adapting to change and feedback.
