About The Position

Walmart Central Fill Pharmacy is a specialized pharmacy that processes and dispenses prescriptions for multiple retail pharmacy locations in a region. Its automated operations help prescriptions be filled quickly and accurately, enabling retail pharmacies to spend more time providing clinical services and education to their communities. The Custodian supports operations at Walmart’s Central Fill Pharmacy in Springfield, Missouri, maintaining clean and sanitary facilities and assisting with facility support.

Requirements

1–3 years of custodial background.

Nice To Haves

Experience in custodial services or a related field.
Experience driving large trucks.
Ability to speak both English and Spanish.
Valid driver's license or eligibility to obtain one.

Responsibilities

Set up rooms for special events; perform minor maintenance and repairs; collect and transport recyclables; disassemble and clean drug dispensers; and report facility issues to management.
Maintain clean and sanitary offices, restrooms, conference rooms, lobbies, elevators, and parking lots in accordance with company safety procedures and applicable laws and regulations.
Use personal protective equipment; empty waste and recycling bins; dust, sweep, and wet mop; strip and wax floors; clean and sanitize bathrooms and showers; vacuum and spot-clean carpets; clean electronic devices, windows, air conditioner ducts, and ceiling tiles; and identify and respond to additional cleaning needs.
Follow company policies, procedures, and ethical standards, including implementing action plans and using the Open Door Policy.
Complete assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners; identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carrying out tasks; communicating progress; recommending improvements; and adapting to change and feedback.
