1st Shift Custodian II - Health and Wellness Non-Store Operations
About The Position
Walmart Central Fill Pharmacy is a specialized pharmacy that processes and dispenses prescriptions for multiple retail pharmacy locations in a region. The Custodian supports operations at the Central Fill Pharmacy in Springfield, Missouri, helping maintain a clean and sanitary facility and providing facility support. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The listed salary is $17.00 per hour; the stated hourly wage range is $15.20–$22.80, with additional compensation that may include performance bonuses and, for certain positions, a Regional Pay Zone. Sponsorship is not available.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of custodial background.

- Experience driving large trucks.
- Ability to speak both English and Spanish.
- Valid driver's license or eligibility to obtain one.
Responsibilities
- Set up rooms for special events and perform minor maintenance and repair activities.
- Collect and transport recyclables.
- Disassemble and clean drug dispensers.
- Report facility issues, such as roof leaks and power outages, to management.
- Maintain clean and sanitary offices, restrooms, conference rooms, lobbies, elevators, and parking lots in accordance with safety procedures, company guidelines, and applicable laws and regulations.
- Use personal protective equipment; empty waste and recycling receptacles; dust, sweep, wet mop, strip, and wax floors; clean and sanitize bathrooms and showers; vacuum and spot-clean carpets; and clean electronic devices, windows, air conditioner ducts, and ceiling tiles.
- Identify and respond to additional cleaning needs.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and ethical standards, including implementing action plans and using the Open Door Policy.
- Complete assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners; manage deadlines and expectations; communicate progress; recommend improvements; and adapt to change, difficulties, and feedback.
