Part Time Custodian and Cart Attendant
About The Position
Responsible for general maintenance and cleaning duties, maintaining safety and sanitation standards for members and team members, and gathering and returning carts and flatbeds from the parking lot to the club entrance. The role includes keeping club areas and outdoor grounds clean, organized, and safe; providing prompt, courteous member service; and following club policies, procedures, and established safety standards. Team members may also perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.

Nice To Haves
- Prior maintenance or janitorial experience is preferred but not required.
- Prior retail or wholesale experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide members with prompt and courteous service and assistance.
- Maintain high standards of safety and sanitation for members and team members.
- Clean all areas of the club, including the sales floor, offices, restrooms, outdoor grounds, and parking lot.
- Gather and return carts and flatbeds from the parking lot to the club entrance; keep carts stocked, clean, and in working order, and remove unsuitable carts from service.
- Remove trash and debris from the parking lot, cart corrals, and exterior of the club.
- Return new and unused merchandise to the sales floor.
- Perform maintenance and cleaning duties, including mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, carpet extracting, washing glass, emptying trash receptacles, and pulling pallets.
- Maintain outdoor grounds, including cart corrals, sidewalks, and outdoor trash receptacles.
- Prioritize maintenance and cleaning responsibilities efficiently across the club.
- Safely operate the floor scrubber, trash compactor, and cardboard baler according to established safety standards.
- Restock maintenance and cleaning supplies and keep supply areas on the receiving dock and maintenance closets clean, neat, and organized.
- Perform minor and routine building repairs and notify management when major repairs may be needed.
- Follow club policies and procedures and complete other assigned duties, including work in other departments as needed.
- Complete required training and certification processes.
- Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
