About The Position

The Custodial worker performs custodial duties, minor maintenance, and other miscellaneous duties to ensure buildings and facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe, and sanitary manner. The role reports to the Custodial Supervisor, who oversees and cares for resort facilities and grounds.

Responsibilities

• Clean all resort lodges and properties.
• Mop tile and concrete floor areas.
• Vacuum carpeted areas.
• Dust furniture and fixtures as required.
• Wash and disinfect washroom floors, toilets, toilet seats, and fixtures.
• Replenish toilet tissue and soap as needed.
• Empty wastebaskets, garbage cans, and recycle bins, and place waste in the appropriate outside dumpsters.
• Clean entrances and exits, including glass, doors, and hardware.
• Perform or report minor maintenance repairs.
• Secure storage areas.
• Store cleaning materials and supplies safely and orderly.
• Maintain an adequate supply of cleaning materials and supplies.
• Restock materials and supplies.
• Note the need for equipment repairs.
• Perform other related duties as required.
