About The Position

Nawa Professional Services is hiring a dependable, detail-oriented part-time Custodian/Janitor in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The role involves providing high-quality cleaning services while meeting cleaning standards and following safety procedures and company guidelines. The schedule is Monday and Thursday, 8:00 PM to 4:30 AM, for 16 hours per week. The pay rate is $18.00 per hour. The position requires previous supervisory or leadership experience, custodial experience, and floorcare experience. Candidates must be available to work weekends and holidays and may be asked to work additional days. Applicants must pass a background check and drug test, including for THC, be at least 18 years old with valid ID, and be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future. Reliable transportation is required. The job involves lifting and moving up to 50 pounds and standing, bending, and moving for long periods. Requirements

• Previous supervisory or leadership experience.
• Custodial experience.
• Floorcare experience.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays, and openness to working additional days if needed.
• Pass a background check with no pending or past criminal charges and a drug test, including for THC.
• Be at least 18 years old and have valid ID.
• Be authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
• Reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, bend, and move for long periods.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Team-player attitude and willingness to take direction.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and remove trash.
• Clean restrooms, common areas, and other building areas.
• Lift, move, and rearrange furniture and equipment as needed.
• Maintain a professional, courteous, and respectful presence while working.
• Deliver quality results while meeting cleaning standards.
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines.
