About The Position

The Curbside Pickup Coordinator leads the Aisles Online pickup team and helps ensure customer orders are fulfilled and picked up quickly, efficiently, and with friendly service. The role manages orders from storage through delivery to customers’ vehicles, maintains proper product temperatures, and supports a positive pickup experience. Work takes place inside the store and outside at the curbside pickup area in a fast-paced environment. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen.

Frequently stand and walk throughout a shift in sales, food service, or delivery areas.
Perform repetitive standing, walking, reaching, and bending associated with order fulfillment, POS transactions, and cleaning or sanitation duties.

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide prompt, friendly customer service and make customer interactions positive.
Facilitate Aisles Online pickup orders in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner.
Lead pickup location staff in providing efficient and helpful pickup experiences.
Gather orders, store them at the proper temperature, and retrieve them promptly before customer arrival.
Ensure products remain at the proper temperature throughout the pickup process.
Cart orders to the holding area, then lift, carry, and load groceries into customer vehicles.
Select, scan, and bag items from all temperature zones as needed.
Tender customer orders through the POS system and process credit card payments.
Substitute products when customers request it or products are unavailable.
Answer telephone calls and emails promptly and provide helpful customer service.
Work with co-workers as a team to support customer satisfaction and a pleasant work environment.
Perform other job-related duties and special projects as required.
Follow Hy-Vee policies and store guidelines.
Report to work as scheduled and on time.
