About The Position

The Curbside Pickup Coordinator leads the pickup team and manages Aisles Online order fulfillment from storage through loading orders into customers’ vehicles. The role focuses on providing fast, friendly, and seamless pickup experiences while ensuring products are handled and stored at the proper temperatures. Coordinators work in a fast-paced environment both inside the store and outside at the curbside pickup area, and report to the Store Director, Store Manager, Assistant Managers of Store Operations, Perishables, and Health Wellness Home, and Online Shopping Department Manager. The position has direct reports: Aisles Online Pick Up Clerks. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen.

Ability to frequently stand and walk throughout a shift in sales, food service, or delivery areas.
Ability to perform repetitive standing, walking, reaching, and bending associated with order fulfillment, POS transactions, and cleaning and sanitation duties.

Responsibilities

Provide prompt, friendly customer service, greet customers, learn their names, and make each interaction positive.
Facilitate Aisles Online pickup orders in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner.
Lead pickup location staff in providing efficient, helpful, and friendly pickup experiences.
Gather orders and place them in storage at the proper temperature, then retrieve them promptly before customer arrival.
Ensure products maintain proper temperature throughout the pickup process.
Cart orders to the holding area and lift, carry, and load groceries into customer vehicles.
Select, scan, and bag items from all temperature zones as needed.
Tender customer orders through the POS system and process credit card payments.
Substitute products for customers upon request or when products are unavailable.
Answer telephone calls and emails promptly and provide helpful customer service.
Work with co-workers as a team to support customer satisfaction and a pleasant work environment.
Perform other job-related duties and special projects as required.
Follow Hy-Vee policies and store guidelines.
Report to work as scheduled and on time.
