About The Position

Become a Culinary Server at Rosegate Commons Assisted Living. In this role, you will help ensure residents receive safe, nutritious, and delicious meals by assisting with meal preparation and service and maintaining a clean work environment. This is a full-time position that requires weekend work.

You will partner with culinary leaders and the service team to meet residents’ needs and provide a positive dining experience. Duties include preparing and portioning menu items according to resident diet requirements, preparing trays and carts for service, collecting soiled trays, washing dishes, and cleaning equipment to maintain a sanitary workplace.

Requirements

• Commitment to customer service.
• Willingness to perform routine tasks and work effectively alongside the culinary team and leaders.

Nice To Haves

• Sanitation or safe food handling certification, unless required by state or federal agencies; certifications can be earned while employed with ASC.
• Prior restaurant server experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner with culinary leaders to meet residents’ needs and provide a positive dining experience.
• Assist with preparing and portioning meal items according to the menu and resident diet requirements.
• Set up trays and carts in preparation for serving residents.
• Work with service staff to collect soiled trays and wash dishes.
• Clean equipment as needed and maintain a clean, sanitary workplace.
