About The Position

Aster Place Assisted Living is hiring a part-time Culinary Server to help provide residents with safe, nutritious, and appealing meals. The role supports meal preparation and service, meets residents’ diet requirements, and helps maintain a clean and sanitary dining and kitchen environment. Shifts include day and evening work, including weekend shifts. The position works alongside culinary leaders and service staff to create a positive dining experience for residents.

Requirements

Commitment to customer service.
Willingness to perform routine tasks and work effectively alongside the culinary team and leaders.

Nice To Haves

Sanitation or safe food-handling certification is preferred unless required by state or federal agencies; certifications can be earned while employed with ASC.
Prior restaurant server experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Partner with culinary leaders to meet residents’ needs and provide a positive dining experience.
Assist with preparing and portioning meal items according to the menu and residents’ dietary requirements.
Set up trays and carts for service to residents.
Work with service staff to collect soiled trays and wash dishes.
Clean equipment as needed and maintain a clean, sanitary workplace.
