About The Position

Become a Culinary Server at Brownsburg Meadows Assisted Living. In this part-time role, you will help ensure residents receive safe, nutritious, and delicious meals by assisting with meal preparation and service and maintaining a clean work environment. Day, evening, and weekend shifts are available.

You will work alongside culinary leaders and service staff to support residents’ dining needs, prepare and portion meals according to the menu and resident diet requirements, set up trays and carts, collect soiled trays, wash dishes, and clean equipment. Requirements

• Commitment to customer service.
• Willingness to perform routine tasks and work effectively alongside the culinary team and leaders.

Nice To Haves

• Sanitation or safe food-handling certification, unless required by state or federal agencies; certifications can be earned while employed with ASC.
• Prior restaurant server experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner with culinary leaders to meet residents’ needs and provide a positive dining experience.
• Assist with preparing and portioning meal items according to the menu and residents’ diet requirements.
• Set up trays and carts in preparation for service to residents.
• Work with service staff to collect soiled trays and wash dishes.
• Clean equipment as needed and maintain a clean, sanitary workplace.
