About The Position

The Culinary Server at The Commons on Meridian Assisted Living helps ensure residents receive safe, nutritious, and delicious meals. The role assists with meal preparation and service and helps maintain a clean, sanitary work environment. The server partners with culinary leaders and service staff to support residents’ needs and provide a positive dining experience. This is a part-time evening-shift position.

Requirements

• Commitment to customer service.
• Willingness to perform routine tasks and work effectively alongside the culinary team and leaders.

Nice To Haves

• Sanitation or safe food-handling certification; certifications can be earned while employed with ASC.
• Prior restaurant server experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner with culinary leaders to meet residents’ needs and provide a positive dining experience.
• Assist with preparing and portioning meal items according to the menu and residents’ dietary requirements.
• Set up trays and carts for service to residents.
• Work with service staff to collect soiled trays and wash dishes.
• Clean equipment as needed and maintain a clean, sanitary workplace.
