About The Position

The Culinary Server at Aster Place Assisted Living helps ensure residents receive safe, nutritious, and delicious meals. The role supports meal preparation and service and helps maintain a clean work environment. The position is part-time, with day and evening shifts and separate part-time day and evening weekend shifts available.

Requirements

Commitment to customer service.
Willingness to perform routine tasks and work effectively alongside the culinary team and leaders.

Nice To Haves

Certification in sanitation or safe food handling is preferred, unless required by state or federal agencies; certifications can be earned while employed with ASC.
Prior restaurant server experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Partner with culinary leaders to meet residents’ needs and provide a positive dining experience.
Assist with preparing and portioning meal items according to the menu and residents’ diet requirements.
Set up trays and carts for service to residents.
Work with service staff to collect soiled trays and wash dishes.
Clean equipment as needed and maintain a clean, sanitary workplace.
