About The Position

Carver Ridge Senior Living is seeking a Culinary Assistant/Server to join their team. This role is part-time, with various shifts available for AM (7am-2pm or 11am-2pm) and PM (4pm-7pm). The Culinary Assistant/Server will be responsible for assisting in the preparation, distribution, and supply of food and dishes to residents, families, and staff, while creating an environment that promotes resident well-being. Carver Ridge is a 70-unit, apartment-style community providing Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care services, and was voted Best in Senior Living in 2021 and 2022. Lifespark, the parent company, is a complete senior health company focused on helping seniors live fuller, more independent lives.

Requirements

Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident’s families, and employees.
Must possess advanced computer skills.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Experience in a senior living setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation, distribution, and supply of food and dishes to residents, families, and staff.
Create an environment that promotes resident well-being.
Set up room trays and tables in the dining room.
Serve and bus trays.
Pour and cover beverages.
Assist in preparing and covering food.
Transport carts to appropriate areas and deliver trays, when applicable.
Deliver nourishments and snacks appropriately.
Maintain a steady work pace to produce an adequate supply of clean kitchen utensils and dishes.
Soak, scrub, scrape, and wash soiled dishes.
