About The Position

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist for a 13-week travel contract position in Salem, OR. This role focuses on outpatient CT imaging within a dedicated CT department. The technologist will operate GE and Toshiba/Canon CT scanners and utilize the Epic EMR system. The position involves working day shifts, three 12-hour shifts per week, including every Wednesday and Thursday, and every other Saturday and Sunday.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of CT experience.
• Outpatient CT experience required.
• IV (venipuncture) skills required.
• Experience with GE and Toshiba/Canon CT scanners.
• Epic experience required.
• Graduate of an accredited imaging technology program.
• Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) Radiography License (pending license accepted).
• OBMI CT License or ARRT (CT).
• ARRT (R).
• ARRT (CT) (if not holding an OBMI CT license).
• AHA BLS (required within 90 days of hire).

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT imaging procedures.
• Acquire and perform quality assurance on CT images.
• Position patients appropriately for CT procedures.
• Administer IV contrast as needed.
• Document procedures and patient information in the Epic EMR system.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols.
• Operate GE and Toshiba/Canon CT scanners.
