About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist for a travel contract position in Charlotte, NC. This role involves performing a high volume of CT scans in a busy hospital environment, including a high-volume Emergency Department. The technologist will be responsible for operating GE and Siemens scanners, administering contrast, and performing various CT imaging procedures on a diverse patient population.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of CT experience.
Acute care/hospital experience required.
Experience in Inpatient, Emergency Department (ED), Adult ICU, and some Trauma imaging.
GE scanner experience required.
Siemens FORCE CT scanner experience required.
AHA BLS certification.
ARRT (R) certification.
ARRT (CT) certification.
Proficiency in Epic EMR.
Experience with PACS (preferred).
Experience with Visage PACS (preferred).
Ability to perform IV Starts (preferred).

Responsibilities

Perform CT scans on a diverse patient population including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
Operate GE and Siemens FORCE CT scanners.
Administer contrast.
Perform various CT imaging procedures including Inpatient, Emergency Department (ED), Adult ICU, Trauma imaging, Abdomen, Pelvis, Head & Neck, Chest, Spine, Musculoskeletal CT, Brain Perfusion, and CT Angiography (CTA).
Utilize Multiplanar Reconstruction (MPR).
Document procedures and patient information using Epic EMR and Visage PACS.
Adhere to all safety protocols and quality standards.
