About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist for a travel contract position in Santa Barbara, CA. This role involves working with a diverse patient population, from neonates to geriatrics, utilizing advanced CT scanning technology. The position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings, with proficiency in Epic and PACS. The technologist will be responsible for performing a wide range of CT procedures, including biopsies, aspirations, and various CT scans of different body parts, as well as specialized imaging techniques like brain perfusion and CT angiography. This is a night shift position, working three 12-hour shifts per week, with no floating or on-call requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of CT experience.
  • Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Experience with Epic and PACS.
  • Experience using GE Revolution CT Scanner.
  • Experience using GE HD 750 CT Scanner (required).
  • California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) License.
  • ARRT (R) certification.
  • ARRT (CT) certification (required).
  • Proficiency in PACS.
  • Experience with contrast administration.
  • Experience with CT-guided biopsies.
  • Experience with CT-guided aspirations.
  • Experience with Abdomen CT.
  • Experience with Pelvis CT.
  • Experience with Head/Neck CT.
  • Experience with Chest CT.
  • Experience with Spine CT.
  • Experience with Musculoskeletal CT.
  • Experience with Brain Perfusion.
  • Experience with CT Arthrography.
  • Experience with Drainage Procedures.
  • Experience with Myelography.
  • Experience with CT Angiography (CTA).
  • Experience with Multiplanar Reconstruction (MPR).
  • Experience imaging patients from Neonates through Geriatrics.

Responsibilities

  • Operate GE Revolution CT Scanner and GE HD 750 CT Scanner.
  • Perform CT-guided biopsies and aspirations.
  • Conduct various CT scans including Abdomen, Pelvis, Head/Neck, Chest, Spine, and Musculoskeletal CT.
  • Perform specialized imaging such as Brain Perfusion, CT Arthrography, Drainage Procedures, and Myelography.
  • Utilize CT Angiography (CTA) and Multiplanar Reconstruction (MPR) techniques.
  • Image patients across all age groups, from neonates to geriatrics.
  • Document patient information using the Epic system.
  • Manage and utilize PACS for image storage and retrieval.
