About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist for a travel contract position in Salem, OR. This role involves working night shifts, three 12-hour shifts per week, for a duration of 13 weeks. The technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic CT imaging in an outpatient-focused department, utilizing GE and Toshiba/Canon CT scanners. Proficiency in the Epic EMR system is required. This position does not require on-call duties.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of CT experience.
• Outpatient CT experience required.
• IV (venipuncture) skills required.
• Experience with GE and Toshiba/Canon CT scanners.
• Epic experience required.
• Graduate of an accredited imaging technology program.
• ARRT (R) certification.
• ARRT (CT) certification (if not holding an OBMI CT License).
• Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) Radiography License (pending license accepted).
• OBMI CT License or ARRT (CT).
• AHA BLS certification (required within 90 days of hire).

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT imaging procedures in accordance with ARRT standards.
• Acquire and ensure the quality of CT images.
• Position patients appropriately for CT procedures.
• Administer contrast media via IV insertion, demonstrating venipuncture skills.
• Operate GE and Toshiba/Canon CT scanners.
• Document procedures and patient information using the Epic EMR system.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols.
• Work effectively within an outpatient-focused CT department.
