About The Position

Baptist Health is seeking a full-time CT Technologist for its CT Scan Department at Baptist South in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a daytime position scheduled Thursday through Saturday, 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The technologist delivers high-quality imaging services while supporting patient comfort and safety in a collaborative environment. Duties include operating and calibrating GE equipment, preparing and positioning patients, administering IV contrast, explaining procedures to patients, and following regulatory and safety standards.

Requirements

1–2 years of radiology technologist experience.
Customer service experience.
Experience working in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

Perform high-quality CT procedures in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
Monitor patient vital signs and comfort during exams.
Operate CT equipment and ensure proper maintenance.
Collaborate with radiologists to provide optimal imaging results.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures.
Adhere to safety protocols and radiation safety standards.
Educate patients about the CT process and answer their questions.
Administer IV contrast and explain procedures to patients.
Operate and calibrate GE equipment.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
