About The Position
Baptist Health is seeking a CT Technologist to join the CT Scan Department at Baptist South in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a full-time days opportunity scheduled Thursday through Saturday, 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The CT Technologist delivers high-quality imaging services while ensuring patient comfort and safety. Duties include operating and calibrating GE equipment; preparing and positioning patients, including administering IV contrast; explaining procedures and educating patients; and complying with regulatory and safety standards.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of radiology technologist experience.
- Customer service experience.
- Experience working in a hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT procedures in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
- Monitor patient vital signs and comfort during exams.
- Operate CT equipment and ensure proper maintenance.
- Collaborate with radiologists to provide optimal imaging results.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures.
- Adhere to safety protocols and radiation safety standards.
- Educate patients about the CT process and answer their questions.
- Administer IV contrast as needed.
