About The Position

Baptist Health is seeking a CT Technologist for its CT Scan Department at Baptist South in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a full-time, day-shift position with a schedule of Sunday 6:30 a.m.–7:00 p.m. and Monday–Wednesday 6:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m. The technologist delivers high-quality imaging services while supporting patient comfort and safety in a collaborative environment. Duties include operating and calibrating GE equipment, preparing and positioning patients, administering IV contrast, explaining procedures and educating patients, and complying with regulatory and safety standards. Eligible hires may receive a sign-on bonus of up to $15,000.

Requirements

Registered Technologist in Radiography (ARRT (R)) required.
Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
If hired, must pass ARRT certification in Computed Tomography within 12 months of hire date.
Vocational school education or an associate's degree.

Nice To Haves

1–2 years of radiology experience preferred.
Experience working in a hospital setting preferred.
Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform high-quality CT procedures according to established protocols and guidelines.
Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
Monitor patient vital signs and comfort during exams.
Operate CT equipment and ensure proper maintenance.
Collaborate with radiologists to provide optimal imaging results.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures.
Adhere to safety protocols and radiation safety standards.
Educate patients about the CT process and answer their questions.
Administer IV contrast and explain procedures to patients.
Operate and calibrate GE equipment.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
