About The Position

Responsible for day-to-day sales activities, sales support, and customer service for specified customers and assigned accounts. It coordinates resources involved in customer quotations and works with management on non-contract pricing negotiations, quote markups, and customer notifications about price increases. The CSS Rep resolves pre-sales and post-sales issues with supplier contacts and internal departments; manages demand creation, applicable contracts, value-added programs, returns, invoicing, credit, and shipping issues; and may assist less experienced teammates. The role supports expediting and global opportunities through local escalation, communicates delivery-status changes, conducts bond reviews, manages inventory and order processes, coordinates product change notifications, and maintains the Perfect Order Index through on-time delivery and end-to-end order quality. The position supports management and the sales team through root cause analysis, reporting, exception management, forecast response follow-up, supply chain engagement, bond requests, inventory turn-rate adjustments, contract refreshes, and inventory sweeps.
