About The Position
The CSR/Cleaner welcomes members and prospective guests, handles check-ins and inquiries, supports sales and retail transactions, and helps meet club sales goals. The role also maintains a clean, sanitary, and well-stocked fitness facility, including workout areas, restrooms, locker rooms, and the Black Card Spa. Duties include cleaning equipment and surfaces, operating floor-cleaning equipment, managing laundry, and replenishing supplies.
Responsibilities
- Greet arriving and departing guests, scan key tags or mobile apps, and verify member accounts.
- Answer phone and in-person inquiries, explain membership options, and tour prospective members around the gym.
- Process point-of-sale transactions for drinks, snacks, and branded merchandise, and work toward club sales goals.
- Disinfect cardio machines, free weights, benches, and strength equipment.
- Deep-clean toilets, sinks, showers, mirrors, and Black Card Spa amenities, including tanning equipment, massage chairs, and hydro-massage equipment.
- Vacuum carpets, mop hard floors, and operate commercial floor scrubbers.
- Empty trash and recycling bins and restock paper towels, sanitizer, and bathroom supplies.
- Dust vents, TVs, and light fixtures, and wash and dry gym microfiber cloths or mop heads.
