About The Position

The Production Line Specialist works in food manufacturing and processing on an assembly line. The role operates a station on the food production line and produces food products according to daily schedules, specified quality requirements, and product specifications. It also supports food safety and GMP practices, monitors product quality, maintains a safe and sanitary production area, and reports equipment malfunctions or other production issues to a supervisor or manager. The position is on the first shift, Monday through Thursday from 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with mandatory overtime as needed on Fridays and occasional overtime, weekend, and holiday work.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
One year or less of applicable job experience.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Flexibility to work mandatory overtime as needed on Fridays and occasional overtime, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of manufacturing procedures and operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate a station on a food production line and produce products within specifications according to the daily schedule.
Produce food products that meet specified quality requirements.
Follow and promote food safety practices, GMPs, and appropriate food defense techniques.
Monitor products during production to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
Perform duties safely and comply with regulations and company policies.
Clean and sanitize the production area.
Inform a supervisor or manager about equipment malfunctions and other production issues.
Work overtime, weekends, and holidays upon occasion, as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
