About The Position

The CSR/Cleaner role combines gym cleaning and upkeep with member services and sales support. The employee sanitizes fitness equipment, cleans restrooms and locker rooms, maintains floors and surfaces, stocks supplies, handles laundry, and performs regular floor checks for safety and cleanliness. The role also greets and checks in members and guests, answers inquiries, gives tours to prospective members, processes retail transactions, supports membership account changes, and escalates complex issues to the Club Manager. This opportunity is with a Planet Fitness franchise location. Franchise employees are employed by the Franchisee, not PFHQ. Responsibilities

Disinfect cardio machines, free weights, benches, and strength equipment.
Deep-clean toilets, sinks, showers, mirrors, and the Black Card Spa, including tanning areas, massage chairs, and hydro-massage equipment.
Vacuum carpets, mop hard floors, and operate commercial floor scrubbers.
Empty trash and recycling bins and restock paper towels, sanitizer bottles, and bathroom supplies.
Dust vents, TVs, and light fixtures, and wash and dry gym microfiber cloths or mop heads.
Greet arriving and departing guests, scan key tags or mobile apps, and verify accounts.
Answer phone calls, explain membership types, and tour prospective members around the gym.
Handle point-of-sale transactions for drinks, snacks, and branded merchandise, and meet club sales goals.
Conduct regular gym-floor walkthroughs to check safety, re-rack stray weights, and wipe down equipment.
Resolve basic account questions, cancellations, or upgrades, and escalate complex issues to the Club Manager.
