About The Position

The Stacker feeds and/or stacks lumber into a saw to be cut to a specific size, verifies the cut size using a tape measure and cut sheet, and bands and labels finished products for forklift operators to take to the next station. The role also involves maintaining and cleaning equipment and the surrounding area, supporting other team members in the department as needed, and performing other assigned duties. The position requires consistent, quality work in a fast-paced environment and the ability to work in extreme temperatures.

Requirements

• Demonstrate consistent performance and consistently produce high-quality, high-quantity work.
• Be punctual for team meetings and daily work.
• Communicate efficiently and clearly with other team members.
• Learn and consistently follow company procedures and work instructions.
• Work in an extremely fast-paced environment and in extreme temperatures.
• Stand, walk, bend, and stoop throughout the workday; stand and/or walk for eight hours per day with two 15-minute breaks.
• Repeatedly lift at least 50 pounds and lift and carry lumber of different sizes and other products.
• Be able to utilize tools.
• Demonstrate willingness to help others when needed.

• Band and label finished products for forklift operators to move to the next station.
• Clean and maintain equipment and the surrounding area.
• Assist other team members in the department as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Inspect work before delivery to another department and seek efficient use of time.
