About The Position
Opal Foods is accepting applications for a Stacker at its Hathaway Processing Plant in Neosho, Missouri. The position stacks cases of production onto pallets while following company policies and governmental regulations. The Stacker also assists the production lead with other projects and duties as needed.
Requirements
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to establish and maintain good relationships and communicate with co-workers.
- Dependability and ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to comfortably lift 25–45 pounds up to five feet high to place items on a stacked pallet.
- Ability to walk, stand, turn, twist, lift, push, pull, reach, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
Responsibilities
- Stack boxed and crated cartons of eggs onto pallets.
- Monitor and fix the tape machine.
- Help with other positions and clean up as needed.
- Check that boxes and crates are placed on the correct pallets, labels are correct, and boxes are properly sealed.
- Transport eggs from Processing to the Cooler and unload carton trucks as needed.
- Follow Opal Foods policies and procedures, including those related to safety, bio-security, FDA, SQF, and GMP.
