About The Position

The Production Line Specialist performs food manufacturing and processing on an assembly line. The role operates a station on the food production line and produces food products to required specifications and the daily schedule. The position monitors product quality, follows food safety and GMP practices, works safely in compliance with regulations and company policies, and cleans and sanitizes the production area. The schedule is second shift, 3:30 p.m. to 2:00 a.m., Monday through Thursday, with mandatory overtime as needed on Fridays. Occasional overtime, weekend, and holiday work may also be required.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
One year or less of applicable job experience.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays upon occasion; mandatory overtime may be needed on Fridays.
Experience and desire to support a collaborative culture that shares ideas, celebrates successes, and pursues positive outcomes with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Inform a supervisor or manager of equipment malfunctions and other production issues.
Perform other duties as assigned.
