Crew Member (Pizza Maker & Expeditors)
About The Position
Golden Isles Pizza operates one location on St. Simons Island and is seeking friendly team members who are willing to work hard and have fun. Crew Members perform a range of customer service, food preparation, order handling, and store upkeep tasks. They answer phones, take and process orders, prepare products, pack orders for customers and drivers, and run orders out to drivers. They also assist with store cleaning and sanitation and marketing and promotions. The role requires effective communication with management and customers, the ability to multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and flexibility when priorities change. Crew Members may work independently or as part of a team and use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders.
Requirements
- Be at least 16 years of age.
- Pass applicable company background checks.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills for interactions with management and customers and for taking and processing orders.
- Be able to multitask effectively.
- Be able to function in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Be able to adjust to changing priorities.
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
- Be able to make correct monetary change.
