About The Position

Chestnut Land Company is hiring Crew Members and Shift Leaders for an Auntie Anne’s Pretzels location at Grand Traverse Mall. The company describes the workplace as energetic and fun, with opportunities to start or advance a career. Pay is $13.75–$15.00 per hour plus tips, which average an additional $2.00–$3.00 per hour. Mall hours mean no late nights or early mornings. Employees receive paid training and an employee discount, and may be eligible for health, dental, vision, and life insurance and a 401(k). Crew Members, ages 16 and older, prepare and serve pretzels, take customer orders, and help maintain a clean, welcoming store. Shift Leaders, ages 18 and older, direct restaurant operations when the management team is absent, support team members, and help maintain food-quality, service, and safety standards. Chestnut Land Company was founded in 1994 and operates more than 100 locations across 14 states in shopping venues and outlet centers.

Requirements

Crew Member applicants must be at least 16 years old.
Shift Leader applicants must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and take orders accurately and efficiently.
Prepare, bake, and sample fresh products.
Roll, bake, and serve pretzels while providing guests with a high-quality experience.
Work with the team to keep the store clean and welcoming.
Direct restaurant operations in the absence of the management team.
Monitor employee breaks, scheduling, and overtime.
Help train and onboard new team members.
Ensure food quality, speed of service, and workplace safety.
