About The Position

Licking-Knox Goodwill Industries, Inc. is hiring a part-time Janitorial Crew Leader for the Ohio Department of Transportation I-70 Interstate Rest Area in Hebron, Ohio. The role pays $19.00 per hour and offers a $125 signing bonus. The schedule is Friday through Sunday, from 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Licking-Knox Goodwill Industries, Inc. provides training, employment, and support services to individuals with disabilities and other barriers to employment. The Crew Leader performs indoor janitorial work and outdoor seasonal maintenance at the rest area. Training is provided for lawn mowing and snow removal.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years old.
Must be able to perform outdoor seasonal work after receiving training in lawn mowing and snow removal.
Must pass a background check and drug screening.
Must be able to work around the traveling public.
Must be able to bend, walk, squat, and stoop, and lift 35 pounds.
Must be able to stand for two hours with a break.

Responsibilities

Clean restrooms.
Take out the trash.
Sanitize surfaces and areas.
Sweep, vacuum, and mop.
Perform outdoor maintenance, including mowing, weeding, mulching, planting, and trimming trees.
Pick up litter and debris in the parking lot.
Empty grills.
Remove snow during the winter season.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
