Credit Analyst – (Jim Thorpe, PA)
About The Position
The Credit Analyst supports the commercial lending team by evaluating borrowers’ financial condition and credit risk, preparing credit approval memorandums, and helping ensure sound and efficient lending decisions. The role partners with loan officers, monitors portfolio activity, conducts renewals and relationship reviews, assigns risk ratings, and assists with compliance, reporting, audits, and portfolio monitoring. This is a hybrid role based in Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania, with occasional on-site attendance and the ability to commute required. The employer prefers candidates with 0–3 years of experience and will also consider strong candidates with 1–3 years. Employment is contingent on successfully completing federal and state criminal background checks and a credit check before the start date.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong skills in financial statement interpretation and cash flow analysis.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional, detail-oriented, and collaborative approach.
- Ability to commute to the Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania, location occasionally.
- Successful completion of federal and state criminal background checks and a credit check is required before employment starts.

Responsibilities

- Support compliance and reporting needs, including audit assistance and portfolio monitoring.
