About The Position
The Staff Registered Nurse manages and delivers patient care using the nursing process at INTEGRIS Health Jim Thorpe Rehab Edmond in Edmond, Oklahoma. The role includes assessing and reassessing patients, developing and implementing plans of care, evaluating interventions, and documenting care. The nurse may be required to float to other units or participate in on-call status. Population-specific competencies and adherence to applicable National Patient Safety Goals are required. This PRN position offers flexible scheduling and competitive pay.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Oklahoma or a current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 30 days of hire. For hospice only, current CPR certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association is required in lieu of BLS.
- Other certifications and competencies as required based on the service line.
Responsibilities
- Assess and reassess patients.
- Develop plans of care.
- Implement appropriate patient care interventions.
- Evaluate patient care interventions.
- Manage and document the delivery of patient care.
- Supervise and coordinate assigned licensed and non-licensed personnel providing patient care.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to non-licensed personnel and students, as appropriate.
- Float to other units and participate in on-call status if required.
- Adhere to applicable National Patient Safety Goals.
