About The Position

INNOVIM is seeking support for NOAA’s Office of Oceanic and Atmospheric Research (OAR) Climate Program Office (CPO) Earth System Science and Modeling (ESSM) office. The candidate will execute ESSM communication, outreach, and engagement activities and contribute to broad CPO communications activities. This includes website management, topical articles, presentations, webinars, newsletters, meetings, and other engagement efforts. The role involves writing and publicizing major accomplishments and activities of ESSM programs by liaising with staff in the CPO ESSM Division and CEE Division, the OAR communications office, and other Line Offices as appropriate. Additionally, the candidate will enhance communication and presentation of cross-OAR and Line Office activities in alignment and coordination with ESSM’s priorities.

Requirements

Experience with communication, outreach, and engagement activities.
Experience with website management.
Experience writing topical articles, presentations, webinars, newsletters, and managing meetings.
Ability to liaise with staff in CPO ESSM Division and CEE Division, OAR communications office, and other Line Offices.
Ability to enhance communication and presentation of cross-OAR and Line Office activities.

Responsibilities

Execute ESSM communication, outreach, and engagement activities and contribute to broad CPO communications activities through website management, topical articles, presentations, webinars, newsletters, meetings, and other engagement efforts.
Write and publicize major accomplishments and activities of ESSM programs by liaising with staff in the CPO ESSM Division and CEE Division, the OAR communications office, and other Line Offices as appropriate.
Enhance communication and presentation of cross-OAR and Line Office activities in alignment and coordination with ESSM’s priorities. Such enhancement, presentation, and coordination shall be interleaved with the two above requirements.
