About The Position

The Hotel Room Attendant/Housekeeper cleans, restocks, and maintains assigned hotel rooms to provide Level5 Hospitality’s high-touch housekeeping service for each guest stay. The role includes preparing rooms to hotel standards, supporting laundry operations as needed, reporting maintenance needs and suspicious activity, and handling lost property according to hotel procedures.

Detail-oriented and thorough.
Able to remain discreet and respect guest privacy.
Able to perform consistent work to high standards.
Able to interact with guests in a pleasant, friendly manner.
Sufficient education and literacy to identify and read product labels and communicate with guests about job-related needs.
Must be able to access and navigate the facility.
Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment in accordance with safety requirements.
Able to perform routine, repetitive work that may require strenuous physical exertion, including moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in basic English is preferred.

Responsibilities

Receives a list of assigned rooms from the manager and prioritizes rooms requesting early cleaning.
Checks the cleaning cart inventory and adds necessary supplies.
Knocks and announces themselves before entering a room, and returns later if the room is occupied.
Removes soiled linens, towels, bedspreads, and blankets and replaces them with fresh items.
Makes beds and stocks towels, washcloths, and hand towels according to policy.
Cleans and disinfects bathrooms and kitchenette or coffee-preparation areas according to hotel policies.
Wipes room surfaces and cleans mirrors.
Vacuums floors and removes trash.
Checks and restocks complimentary coffee and toiletries according to the hotel checklist and policy.
Conducts a final room inspection to ensure the room meets hotel standards.
Notifies the supervisor when a room is available and reports suspicious activity to security.
Ensures soiled linens are laundered, including loading washers and dryers and folding sheets and towels in the laundry room as needed.
Notifies the maintenance department of needed repairs or maintenance.
Takes found items to the designated lost and found area when a guest has checked out.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
