About The Position

Shaner Hotels is hiring a Guest Room Attendant at the 120-room Courtyard by Marriott Hershey Chocolate Avenue in Hershey, Pennsylvania. The role cleans and services assigned guest rooms according to category priorities and franchise and hotel standards, maintaining established cleanliness and quality standards. The attendant reports maintenance deficiencies, responds to guest requests and complaints, and protects the confidentiality and security of guest rooms. The position also includes restocking the cart at the end of the shift and completing scheduled deep-cleaning or seasonal-cleaning tasks. Candidates should have at least one year of cleaning experience; prior hotel experience is preferred. The attendant must be able to communicate satisfactorily with guests, management, and coworkers, and should know proper chemical handling. Bilingual English/Spanish ability and knowledge of local activities and attractions are advantageous. The schedule is flexible and may include weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Clean and service assigned guest rooms by category priority, meeting franchise and hotel standards.
• Maintain established standards of quality and cleanliness throughout daily assignments.
• Report maintenance deficiencies and handle guest requests or complaints.
• Handle guest complaints to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintain the confidentiality and security of all guest rooms.
• Follow house rules, safety rules, housekeeping room procedures, and security procedures.
• Return and restock the cart at the end of the shift.
• Complete additional deep-cleaning and seasonal-cleaning functions as scheduled.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
