PT-Room Attendant-Courtyard- Medford, Friday- Sunday shift
About The Position
The Room Attendant performs cleaning duties to maintain hotel rooms in a clean and orderly manner. The role includes preparing and replenishing supplies on a housekeeping cart, cleaning guest rooms and related areas, reporting maintenance concerns and unsafe conditions, communicating room status and guest requests, and handling lost-and-found items. Associates are expected to meet brand-standard room-cleaning times, follow safety procedures, maintain reliable attendance, and contribute positively to teamwork. The position is at the Courtyard by Marriott in Medford, Oregon, with a Friday–Sunday shift.
Requirements
- Must pass a criminal background check.
- Ability to manage time and prioritize work effectively.
- Ability to communicate with guests, management, and team members.
- Ability to work under time constraints in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to meet productivity standards and follow safety procedures.
- Ability to lift and carry an average weight of 20 pounds frequently and a maximum weight of 50 pounds frequently.
- Ability to push and pull an average weight of 50 pounds frequently and a maximum weight of 150 pounds.
- Ability to stand and walk up to two miles per day on cement, tile, asphalt, and carpet.
- Ability to reach and extend overhead, and perform repetitive bending, kneeling, stooping, and twisting.

Responsibilities
- Make beds, replenish linens, clean rooms and bathrooms, clean halls, and vacuum.
- Load and unload the housekeeping cart with supplies, replace cleaning supplies, and keep the cart clean, neat, and stocked.
- Report problems and maintenance repairs as needed.
- Communicate room status, work progress, guest requests, and problems to the supervisor.
- Record and turn in lost-and-found items.
- Immediately report unsafe conditions.
- Complete other assigned duties, including cross-training.
- Meet brand-standard expected cleaning times and work within recognized time frames.
- Follow hotel policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality, and behave respectfully and positively to encourage teamwork.
