About The Position

The Court Operations Manager (COM) performs managerial, administrative, financial, budgeting, and public relations work, with responsibility for planning, organizing, staffing, coordinating, directing, and evaluating the functions of one or more court divisions. The COM reports directly to the appropriate supervising court clerk and supervises unit division staff, who may be assigned across divisions of the Superior Court Unit or to statewide courts as needed. Occasional travel to other locations and overnight meetings may be required; private transportation is necessary, with mileage and expenses reimbursed at State rates. Duties normally occur during a regular weekday schedule, though evening and weekend activity may be necessary. The position also coordinates court resources and schedules, manages vendor and contractor services, contributes to Judiciary-wide projects, identifies opportunities for technology improvements, monitors operational performance, prepares reports and budgets, recruits and supervises staff and other personnel, maintains accurate court records and timely court documents, and sustains effective relationships with court stakeholders. The annual equivalent compensation is $83,075. High school graduation or equivalent is required, along with two years of clerical, secretarial, or data entry experience.
