About The Position
The Department of Economics at McGill University is inviting applications for a course lecturer position to teach ECON 424-001, International Payments, in Fall 2026. This course covers the theory and policy of international financial relations, including topics such as the balance of payments, exchange rates, global capital markets, and the international monetary system. The position is scheduled for Tuesdays and Thursdays from 02:35 pm to 03:55 pm, from August 31, 2026, to December 4, 2026, and will be located at ENGMD 279. Requirements
- Doctoral level study in Economics, including completed comprehensive examinations for the PhD, or completed PhD degree in Economics.
- Evidence of highly effective teaching ability or of superior communications skills and potential for teaching excellence.
- Candidate's area of specialization should be as close as possible to that of the course being offered.
- Must be authorized to work in Canada.
- Must be willing to work in the province of Quebec.
- Proficiency in English, both verbally and in writing.
Nice To Haves
- Experience as a teaching assistant for a course is an asset.

Benefits
