The Department of Economics is inviting applications for a course lecturer position to teach ECON 316-001, The Underground Economy (3 Credits – CAP 100), in Fall 2026. This course covers the origins, structure, and operation of the "underground" sectors of modern economies worldwide, including topics such as the causes of black marketeering in Western economies, international contraband trade in guns and drugs, and money laundering through the world financial system. The schedule for the course is Tuesdays and Thursdays from 08:35 am to 09:55 am, running from August 31, 2026, to December 4, 2026. The location is SADB 1/12.
