About The Position

Transport supplies and other items to and from Mercy locations according to designated route schedules. Deliveries may include full and empty linen carts, inter-office mail, lab coolers and specimens, supplies, pharmacy totes, refrigerated supplies, and billing envelopes. The role may also include transporting deposit and change bags to and from area banks. This is a physical position requiring the ability to lift, move, and deliver a variety of items. The courier may be required to work weekends, nights, and holidays. Schedule: PRN.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift, move, and deliver a variety of items.
• Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Follow detailed route instructions and schedules.
• Record and maintain detailed logs as required.
• Secure keys and key cards at all times.
• Pick up, load, unload, and deliver a wide variety of supplies and other items.
• Safely operate Mercy Courier vans.
• Repetitively enter and exit the driver and cargo areas of the vans.
• Document pickups and deliveries using tracking software.
