About The Position

Together, Marken is UPS Healthcare Precision Logistics, serving clinical and advanced therapy logistics. The Courier works as part of a two-person team to pick up and deliver packages from local customer locations in the Grapevine, Texas area. This is a permanent, full-time position of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The Courier is also expected to cover for other drivers during vacation or sick leave.

The role involves handling packages and operating motor vehicles in compliance with applicable safety, security, operating, and legal requirements. Candidates must complete background and employment/education-history checks, TSA testing, and a drug screen. Qualified candidates hired as of July 1, 2021 are eligible for a $1,000 sign-on/retention bonus, paid in two $500 installments after 90 days and six months of continuous service, provided they are active at the applicable payout times.

Requirements

• Provide verifiable proof of a high school diploma, GED, or higher education.
• Have seven years of verifiable employment history.
• Have a clean, verifiable three-year driving record and maintain a driving history that meets MNX Driver Safety Standards.
• Pass a credit check, documented background check, criminal-history check, and drug screen.
• Complete TSA testing.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Hold a valid Class D driver's license; a CDL is not required.
• Be able to lift more than 70 pounds.
• Be able to communicate in English, both in writing and speaking, and provide general direction to others.
• Complete a 10-year employment and education history, including any periods of unemployment.
• Be a U.S. citizen or national, a lawful permanent resident, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver packages from local customer locations in the Grapevine, Texas area as part of a two-person team.
• Load and unload shipments for delivery.
• Follow safety, security, and operating procedures for package pickup and delivery and motor-vehicle operation, and comply with federal, state, and local laws.
• Scan information on airbills and manifests.
• Cover for other drivers when they are on vacation or sick leave.
