About The Position

The Laundry Attendant is responsible for cleaning hotel guest-room linens to ensure guests have the linens needed during their stay. The role operates washing and drying equipment, administers cleaning agents according to product specifications, monitors washer operations, sets drying and cooling times for different linen types, and keeps equipment and surrounding areas clean. The employee must follow attendance rules, be regularly available to work, and perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Operate washing and drying equipment and load and unload laundry from machines.
• Measure and administer cleaning agents to laundry according to product specifications.
• Monitor feeder information on washers, ensure all drums are full, and report irregularities to the immediate supervisor.
• Set appropriate drying and cooling times for different types of linen.
• Clean machines and surrounding areas.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
