About The Position

As a Laundry Attendant, you are responsible for cleaning the hotel’s guest-room linens to ensure each guest has the linens needed for their stay. You will operate washing and drying equipment, handle laundry through the machines, and maintain the machines and surrounding work areas. You are expected to follow attendance rules, be regularly available to work, and perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Operate washing and drying equipment and load and unload laundry from machines.
• Measure and administer cleaning agents to laundry according to product specifications.
• Monitor feeder information on washers, ensure all drums are full, and report irregularities to the immediate supervisor.
• Set appropriate drying and cooling times for different types of linen.
• Clean machines and surrounding areas.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
